Trump declares Houthis have been ‘decimated’ by ‘relentless strikes’
"The Iran-backed Houthi Terrorists have been decimated by the relentless strikes over the past two weeks," Trump posted on Truth Social. "Many of their Fighters and Leaders are no longer with us. We hit them every day and night — Harder and harder."
President Donald Trump on Monday stated that the Houthi terrorist group has been "decimated" by a barrage of "relentless strikes" over the past couple weeks.
The president ordered airstrikes on the Houthi rebels in Yemen’s capital, Sanaa, earlier this month. The Houthis are a group of Iran-backed terrorists in the Yemeni Civil War, and have disrupted shipping in the Red Sea amid the Israel-Hamas conflict.
Trump said the U.S. has been hitting the rebels hard lately, and that many of its leaders have been killed in the escalation.

The president said the U.S. has been destroying the Houthis' resources that threaten the region and U.S. shipping, and urged the rebel group to stop retaliating.
"Our attacks will continue until they are no longer a threat to Freedom of Navigation," he said. "The choice for the Houthis is clear: Stop shooting at U.S. ships, and we will stop shooting at you. Otherwise, we have only just begun, and the real pain is yet to come, for both the Houthis and their sponsors in Iran."
The warning comes after suspected U.S. airstrikes hit Sanaa overnight, which killed at least three people and wounded 12 more.
