Friday marked the 100th day since Russia invaded Ukraine in what the Kremlin intended to be a quick and devastating takeover of its neighbor. However, the Ukrainians haven't given in, and the fighting continues, with no end in sight.
The death tolls and destruction continue to mount, as do the war's effects on global food and energy supplies and prices. Plus, Russia's invasion has spurred a refugee crisis, forcing nearly 7 million Ukrainians to flee their country.
The full repercussions of Russia's invasion remain unclear, but all indications are they'll be significant and long-lasting — militarily, economically, diplomatically, and geopolitically.
