US military reports another strike on alleged 'narco-terrorism' vessel in Caribbean, 4 killed
U.S. strikes on such vessels in the Caribbean and Eastern Pacific have reportedly killed over 220 people.
The U.S. military said Sunday four people were killed in a strike on a vessel in the Caribbean Sea.
The military's U.S. Southern Command said the strike was on a "go-fast" vessel in established narco-trafficking routes in the Caribbean – the latest in a series of such strikes, according to Reuters.
Military officials cited "confirmed intelligence" about the vessel's being involved in narco-trafficking.
U.S. strikes on such vessels in the Caribbean and Eastern Pacific have killed over 220 people, the wire service also reports.
Human Rights Watch, Amnesty International and independent UN experts have called the strikes unlawful extrajudicial killings.
