Donald Trump establishes new Homeland Security Advisory Council
The new committee consists of: South Carolina GOP Gov. Henry McMaster, Fox News commentator Mark Levin, conservative media personality Bo Dietl, and Republican National Committee Treasurer Joseph Gruters.
President Donald Trump on Thursday announced the formation of his new Homeland Security Advisory Council (HSAC), which will be led by Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem.
The new council will be tasked with advising Trump on new policies related to the southern border, including immigration and ending the illegal flow of fentanyl into the country.
The new committee consists of: South Carolina GOP Gov. Henry McMaster, Fox News commentator Mark Levin, conservative media personality Bo Dietl, and Republican National Committee Treasurer Joseph Gruters.
"I am proud to announce the formation of my revamped [HSAC], which is comprised of Top Experts in their field, who are highly respected by their peers," Trump posted to Truth Social.
"Under [Noem's] leadership, HSAC will work hard on developing new Policies and Strategies that will help us secure our Border, deport Illegal Criminal Thugs, stop the flow of Fentanyl and other illegal drugs that are killing our Citizens, and MAKE AMERICA SAFE AGAIN," he added.
