Deputy White House chief of staff for communications and personnel Taylor Budowich is expected to leave the Trump administration at the end of the month for a job in the private sector, Fox News reported Wednesday.

Budowich has played a prominent role in the administration as one of its messaging leaders. The long-time adviser to President Donald Trump previously worked as the communications director for Save America PAC and executive director of MAGA Inc.

He also worked for Trump as a spokesman for his 2020 campaign and testified in the 2023 classified documents case.

"[Budowich] is an invaluable asset to this administration and someone I’ve personally relied on countless times during an amazing first year in office," Vice President JD Vance told Fox News. "His oversight of the White House’s communications team has been an incredible success, where they’ve done an outstanding job touting the truly historic accomplishments of President Trump’s second term ... He’ll be sorely missed, but I’m sure there are big things ahead for Taylor."

White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles also lauded Budowich as a "dear friend" and someone Trump holds in "very high regard."

"I hate to see him go, personally and professionally, but obviously wish him well in whatever he decides is next," she said.

The White House has not announced a replacement for Budowich so far, and Budowich has not commented on his upcoming departure.
