Female rapper Nicki Minaj is reportedly expected to attend the White House Correspondents' Association dinner this weekend as a guest of Fox News as she makes waves for being a fan of President Donald Trump.

The invitation comes after Minaj claimed she was "probably" the president's biggest fan in January and that her support for him would not change even if she gets hate for it from critics.

Fox News confirmed Minaj's attendance to the Washington Examiner on Thursday, and she now joins a growing list of celebrities who have attended the prestigious event. George Clooney, Kim Kardashian and Martha Stewart have all attended the event as guests of different media companies in the past.

The White House Correspondents' Associations dinner is a staple in Washington, D.C., which honors journalists who cover the White House and celebrates the First Amendment.

Trump is expected to attend the event on Saturday night, along with first lady Melania Trump, marking the first time he will have ever attended the event as president.
