President Donald Trump on Wednesday night offered a slew of Congressional endorsements as lawmakers in both chambers eye reelection during next year's midterms.

The endorsements come less than six months after Republicans won back the White House, and flipped the Senate. They also held onto their majority in the House of Representatives. But Democrats are hoping to flip the GOP's narrow grip on the lower chamber.

The president issued five endorsements for Republicans in both chambers, including South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham, who is seeking a fifth term in the Senate.

"Lindsey has been a wonderful friend to me, and has always been there when I needed him," Trump posted on Truth Social. "As the Chair of the Senate Budget Committee, Lindsey is fighting tirelessly to Grow the Economy, Lower Taxes, and Eliminate Government Waste.

"Lindsey is also relentlessly focused on helping us Secure the Border, Stop Migrant Crime, Strongly Support our Great Military/Vets, Promote American Energy DOMINANCE, Defend our always under siege Second Amendment, and ensure PEACE THROUGH STRENGTH," he continued. "Senator Lindsey Graham has my Complete and Total Endorsement for Re-Election — HE WILL NOT LET YOU DOWN."

The president also endorsed first time Virginia Rep. John McGuire, who defeated former Rep. Bob Good during the primaries last year.

"Congressman John McGuire is an America First Warrior for Virginia’s 5th Congressional District," Trump posted. "John bravely served our Great Country as a U.S. Navy SEAL, and is doing an incredible job fighting for the people of Rural Virginia ... John is MAGA all the way, and has been with us from the very beginning. John McGuire has my Complete and Total Endorsement."

Other GOP senators that Trump endorsed include Bill Haggerty of Tennessee, Cindy Hyde-Smith of Mississippi, and Cynthia Lummis of Wyoming.
