President Donald Trump on Friday told reporters that he took a cognitive test during the first physical of his second term, an apparent diss to former President Joe Biden who refused to take an independent cognitive test despite calls to do so.

Trump, who will turn 79 in June, said that the results of the physical will be released on Sunday. The president underwent the physical earlier Friday at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland.

The president has not made any official statement on the exam so far, but told reporters on Air Force One that it included tests on his heart, according to The Hill

“Overall I felt I was in very good shape," Trump said. "Good heart. A good soul. Very good soul. I took — I wanted to be a little different than Biden. I took a cognitive test. I don’t know what to tell you other than I got every answer right.”

Physical exams are not unusual for sitting presidents, who undergo a massive amount of stress during their tenures in the White House. But Trump has not published many health updates since leaving office in 2020. However, he stated on Monday that he has "never felt better."
