President Donald Trump on Monday announced that the first physical of his new term will take place on Friday at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center.

Presidents often participate in annual wellness checks, which are conducted at Walter Reed in Bethesda, Maryland. The results are usually released later by the White House physician.

Trump, who will turn 79 in June, indicated in a post on Truth Social that he was feeling healthy, but he has not published many health updates since leaving office in 2020.

“I am pleased to report that my long scheduled Annual Physical Examination will be done at Walter Reed Army Medical Center on Friday of this week,” Trump posted on Truth Social. “I have never felt better, but nevertheless, these things must be done!”
