Trump meets with Qatari leaders on Air Force One
“We’ve done a lot together, especially in the last year,” Trump said while with the Qatari leaders.
President Donald Trump on Saturday met with Qatar's Amir, HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, on Air Force One during a refueling stop at Al Udeid Air Base in Doha.
Trump is on his way to a summit in Malaysia.
“We’ve done a lot together, especially in the last year,” Trump said while with the Qatari leaders, referencing issues like the Gaza peace deal.
“What we’ve done is incredible – peace to the Middle East – and they were a very big factor in it, so I just want to thank you," he added.
