Trump says running for third term not something he's 'looking to do'
"It’s something that, to the best of my knowledge, you’re not allowed to do," Trump says
President Donald Trump said he's not looking to run for a third term in the White House during "Meet the Press" on Sunday.
"It’s something that, to the best of my knowledge, you’re not allowed to do. I don’t know if that’s constitutional," he said on "Meet the Press." "But this is not something I’m looking to do."
Trump previously said he was "not joking" about a potential third term. He also had said that "there are methods” for possibly running for another term.
"So many people want me to do it," Trump said when asked on Sunday about a third term.
The U.S. Constitution limits an individual to serving a maximum of only two terms.
