Trump signs executive order targeting water pressure in showers

The White House claimed the new order seeks to "Make America's Showers Great Again."

President Donald Trump on Wednesday signed an unconventional executive order that rolled back the Biden administration's limits on water pressure in showers and other household appliances.

The order comes after the president has long complained about water pressure in showers, stating in 2020 that there have been times when he has to take longer showers because the water will not come out.

Trump said that he hopes Congress will approve a bill that supports his order, which the White House claimed targets "weak and worthless" showerheads.

"I like to take a nice shower to take care of my beautiful hair," he said during remarks in the Oval Office. "You have to stand under a shower for fifteen minutes until it gets wet. It comes out drip, drip, drip. It's ridiculous."

The White House also claimed that the new order seeks to "Make America's Showers Great Again."
