President Donald Trump on Wednesday night delivers remarks from the Oval Office of the White House as he signs a continuing resolution that Congress passed this week, which will reopen the federal government.
The remarks come during a busy day in Washington, D.C., where House lawmakers passed the resolution, and sent it on to the president in order to end the longest government shutdown on record.
Democrats on the House Oversight Committee also released emails from the late convicted sex-offender Jeffrey Epstein, which referenced the president. Trump has called the Epstein issue a hoax.
The president's remarks are expected to begin at 9:45 p.m. Eastern and can be viewed here.
