Wyden

Oregon Senator who pushed to tax the rich watched his son build a $467 million hedge fund

Wyden is one of the Senate's loudest voices on taxing the wealthy, banning congressional stock trades and investigating Epstein's finances. While his own worth has been estimated as high as $35 million, his son's own financial dealings -- including a questionable buyback of common stock from a troubled strip club enterprise -- raises fair questions about consistency and conflicts. There is no evidence Wyden directed any trades.
