Trump-Putin call happening now
The first call in months, an agreement between the two could finally mean peace after over three years of war with Ukraine.
President Donald Trump is on the phone with Russian President Vladimir Putin. The two will attempt to hash out a number of issues in the pursuit of peace between Russia and Ukraine, including sovereignty lines and control of territories on each nation's border.
Trump has emphasized his goal of a ceasefire and previous discussions have included a proposed 30-day halt to any attacks on energy infrastructure, maritime ceasefire talks in the Black Sea, and broader peace goals for the two nations.
