Russian strikes killed at least 11 people and wounded at least 16 others, including three children, in Ukraine’s Zaporizhzhia region, officials said Saturday.

Russian aerial bombs struck residential buildings in the region, according to Mykhailo Semikin, head of the regional military administration.

Ivan Fedorov, co-chair of the region’s defense council, confirmed the casualty figures.

The attack came a day after President Donald Trump announced a deal to purchase Russian diesel.

“Diesel prices for Americans and, indeed, the world, will be COMING DOWN, IN RECORD NUMBERS, AND FAST! Lower prices for Americans, especially our Great Farmers, Ranchers, and Truckers, is my greatest priority," Trump wrote on social media.

Kyiv warned the move could give Moscow additional revenue to fund its war against Ukraine.
