READ: The documents declassified in transparency push by President Donald Trump

This year, President Donald Trump declassified hundreds of pages of Intelligence Community and government documents on Chinese hacks, illegal voter registrations, and government weaponization. 

You can find all the documents released so far by the White House Transparency Task Force. This database will be updated with each new release. 

“Round River”

Memos related to a secret counterintelligence operation codenamed “Round River” that was launched during the 2020 election by a task force of FBI analysts which formally designated Attorney General Bill Barr, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, key members of Congress and journalists as Russian disinformation “conduits” in an apparent effort to tamp down a Ukrainian corruption scandal engulfing Joe and Hunter Biden. 

Maricopa County Voter Database Breach

Arizona's largest county, Maricopa, suffered a significant breach of its election data in the days before the 2020 presidential election when a self-described hacker foiled security and obtained 633,000 voter registration files but the Biden Justice Department and local prosecutors declined to bring charges even after the FBI got the suspect to confess, declassified documents show. 

“March Toll”

The FBI opened a probe into sitting Attorney General Jeff Sessions in May 2017 for potentially making false statements to Congress about Russian contacts even though he had already updated the disputed testimony. The evidence to support the probe -- codenamed MARCH TOLL and opened one day after FBI Director James Comey was fired by President Donald Trump -- was a weeks-old letter from Democrats and an article from a liberal news site. 

“Oxferd Comma” 

The FBI opened a criminal probe specifically targeting Donald Trump in May 2017, alleging the newly elected president may have been acting as a Russian asset when he fired then-Director James Comey even though the bureau’s own evidence overwhelmingly showed at the time there was no collusion with the Kremlin.

Noncitizens on State Voter Rolls

The Homeland Security Department found more than a quarter million illegal aliens were registered to vote in four states – California, Nevada, New Jersey and Pennsylvania, according to a review the agency conducted on publicly available data. 

Michigan Voter Registration Probe

Contained in the trove of election-related documents President Donald Trump released to the public in July are the FBI’s investigative files and communications about a possible voter registration fraud scheme in Muskegon, Mich., that ended without prosecution.

China’s Acquisition and Exploitation of American Voter Data

President Trump released hundreds of pages of documents revealing China began sweeping up millions of voter registration records in 2020. By 2023, the country had obtained at least 220 million voter records in the United States and gained access to data in at least 18 states. The dump also contains evidence of a concerted effort by members of the Intelligence Community to withhold information about the breaches from then-President Trump. 

Vulnerabilities in Electronic Voting and Ballot-Counting Systems

From 2004 to 2020, the U.S. Intelligence Community monitored plans by the Venezuelan leadership to electronically manipulate their country’s own voting machines, including the use of substituting false votes, in order to secure victory for the ruling socialists. This intelligence raised concerns in the Intelligence Community that American systems could also be vulnerable. President Trump said the Venezuelan capabilities are evidence that American voting systems need to be better secured.
