White House chief of staff Susie Wiles announced Tuesday that she has created a professional account on the social media platform X in order to share updates on the Trump administration.

The chief of staff has a personal account already, where she shared her cancer diagnosis last month, but did not have a professional one that is directly linked to the White House. Her personal account is rarely used.

The new social media account, which is the chief of staff's name with the number 47 after it, was shared by Vice President JD Vance and members of the Trump administration.

"I’m joining X to share occasional updates about the work we do at the White House," Wiles wrote in the post. "We are relentlessly focusing on advancing President Trump’s agenda and delivering on promises to the American people. I welcome different viewpoints. Follow along for insights and information."

The new account has not made any other posts so far, but has already garnered nearly 200,000 followers.
