New York Times engineering executive fatally shot by in-laws, police say

A New York Times executive, who headed engineering and games player experiences for the publication, was killed by in-laws, according to Bay Area police. 

Police on Saturday found Jonathan McKinsey lying on the ground with multiple gunshot wounds in the city of Dublin. He was pronounced dead at the scene, NBC News reported. 

Acting on a flood of witnesses' phone calls, Dublin police arrested two suspects, Shouyong Zhang, 77, and Shili Chen, 77, a married couple who were identified as McKinsey’s in-laws. 

McKinsey and his wife, Candice Jang, were in the middle of an ongoing domestic and child abuse legal battle, according to court documents.
