Classic Hollywood film actress and Oscar winner Eva Marie Saint died Tuesday at her home in Los Angeles at the age of 102.

Saint, known for her roles in "On The Waterfront" alongside Marlon Brando and "North by Northwest" with Cary Grant, died of natural causes and was surrounded by her family and loved ones, her representative told Deadline.

The Hollywood icon, who was born July 4, 1924, also won one Emmy Award in the Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Miniseries or a Special category for her role in the miniseries "People Like Us," in 1990.

Saint's portrayal of Edie Doyle, alongside Brando's Terry Malloy in "On The Waterfront," is considered iconic, and the pair was considered among the most effective romantic pairings to hit the era’s big screens, the outlet reported.

Brando and Saint both won Oscars for their respective roles.

She is survived by her children, Darrell and Laurette; grandchildren Eli, Tyler, Molly and Stella; and great-grandchildren Arlo and Finley. Her husband of 65 years, director Jeffrey Hayden, died in 2016.
