Son of Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber dies in rehabilitation facility

Presley Gerber, 27, the son of model Cindy Crawford and businessman Rande Gerber, has died. 

A representative of Crawford's confirmed to Fox News that Presley Gerber had died and said, "The family is asking for privacy during this very difficult and painful time."

Presley Gerber died in a rehabilitation facility, according to online records from the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner. 

He has spoken openly about his mental health struggles on social media and in interviews. In August, his younger sister, model and actor Kaia Gerber, spoke about her brother's struggles in Vogue, which described Presley Gerber's difficulties as a "decade-long struggle with drug addiction."
