Trump touches down in Geneva for G7 meeting
Trump's arrival follows the announcement of a peace agreement between Iran and the U.S. to formally end the war.
President Donald Trump arrived in Geneva, Switzerland on Monday morning to participate in the G7 conference.
The president departed Washington around 3 a.m. after the UFC Freedom 250 event was delayed due to rain. Sunday marked Trump's 80th birthday and witnessed a series of mixed martial arts fights on the White House lawn.
Video footage showed Trump descend the stairs of Air Force One and board a helicopter, without taking questions from reporters.
The G7 conference is a meeting of seven nations geared toward economic cooperation and often includes other partner nations. The organization was formerly known as the G8, but Russia was expelled from the group after the 2014 annexation of Crimea.
