More than 1,100 charged in connection to Jan. 6 Capitol riot, DOJ reports

The Department of Justice released its latest statistics Sunday on prosecutions related to the January 6 Capitol riot. The latest data reports over 1,100 people have been charged for their role on January 6 and nearly 770 defendants were convicted of their charges. Around 632 people pled guilty to various charges; 198 defendants pled guilty to felonies. The DOJ said it is working to find more than 300 unidentified people involved in the riot.
