Study: Black Americans are at least 3X more likely to face IRS audits

IRS audits Black taxpayers at a higher rate than non-Black taxpayers, 2.9 to 4.7 times more often, according to a new report. The disparity may be due to the IRS's computer algorithms, not tax evasion.
