Nandini Jammi, the cofounder of the left-wing Check My Ads Institute, is stepping down from her post with the company at the end of next month, as the company faces legal challenges and scrutiny over its attempt to re-brand following President Donald Trump's reelection.

The company, which has led calls to defund conservative media companies like Fox News and the Daily Caller over alleged "disinformation," is currently facing one defamation lawsuit from Rumble, and another defamation lawsuit has been threatened by the ad verification company "Double Verify."

Jammi did not state the reason for her departure in a post on LinkedIn, but her exit will take place on May 31.

“Dear friends, followers and haterz,” Jammi wrote. “When we launched Check My Ads Institute in late 2021, we envisioned a grassroots advocacy organization that would hold the digital advertising industry accountable for running your ads in places you don’t want them, without your knowledge.

"Today, I can say we’ve exceeded those expectations," she continued. "We’ve not only brought much-needed public attention to this shady trillion dollar ecosystem, Check My Ads is now entering a new chapter of its mission: building a truly transparent advertising marketplace."

The co-founder, who previously bragged that her company got Yahoo to stop advertising with Glenn Beck, said that she would now be opening a consulting "shop" that would work with a range of clientele.

The departure also comes after the company reportedly shifted its branding toward motivating web users to make "independent, informed choices” about the content they view online, according to the Washington Examiner.

The company previously touted that it was responsible for allegedly cutting advertising funding to Breitbart News by 90%, and eliminating “(almost) all” of Tucker Carlson’s cable ad revenue. It also reported that it got advertisers to drop more than 50 “insurrectionist outlets.” Breitbart referred to them as "leftist pro-censorship advocates."
