'American Idol' music supervisor Robin Kaye, husband found killed in Los Angeles mansion: report
Los Angeles Police Department officers were called to their home for a welfare check but found them both dead
"American Idol" music supervisor Robin Kaye and her husband were found killed in their Los Angeles mansion, according to reports.
Kaye and her husband, Thomas Deluca, both 70, were shot to death in their $5 million home in Los Angeles on Monday, according to authorities, Daily Mail reported.
Los Angeles Police Department officers were called to their home for a welfare check but found them both dead. Neighbors and family members hadn't heard from the couple in four days.
Police officers saw blood at the front entrance and smashed a window to enter the home, and found that Kaye and Deluca had suffered from possible gunshot wounds, an unnamed source told TMZ. The couple was declared dead at the scene, and their deaths are being investigated as a double homicide.
Officers had been called to the couple's home on Thursday as an unidentified suspect was seen trying to enter and may have been armed with a gun. Police had found no signs of foul play.
Kaye was the music supervisor for "American Idol" for the last 15 seasons, and Deluca was a musician.
