Four people have died and 14 more were wounded in a drive-by shooting in Chicago, police said Thursday.
Two men and two women were killed and at least three of the wounded were in critical condition after being shot late Wednesday in Chicago’s River North neighborhood, The Associated Press reported. Police said 13 women and five men ranging in age from 21 to 32 were shot and were taken to multiple hospitals.
Several news reports said the shooting happened outside a restaurant and lounge that had hosted an album release party for a rapper. A person opened fire into a crowd standing outside, and the vehicle immediately drove away, according to police.
