The Department of Justice Wednesday said it could take a few more weeks before it’s finished releasing all the Jeffrey Epstein files.

This will further delay compliance with a Dec. 19 deadline set by a law Congress passed last month, according to the Associated Press. The DOJ said that the Southern District of New York and the FBI found a large volume of documents that could be relevant to the Epstein case.

In its statement, the DOJ said it’s reviewing the documents and making the redactions that are required by law. The documents will be “released as soon as possible,” the DOJ said.
