Seattle police arrests 15-year-old suspect in connection to Sunday night's deadly shooting

Seattle police officers arrested a 15-year-old suspect Monday morning in connection to a deadly shooting that took place at a food festival near the city's Space Needle.

Three people were killed, and four others were wounded in Sunday night's shooting. One of the wounded was a 2-year-old boy, and police said they believed the incident began when two parties began shooting at each other.

Seattle police are still looking for the other suspect, who has not yet been identified, and it is not clear if the other suspect was one of the people who were fatally shot or injured. 

“We are trying to identify who that person is,” Seattle Police Chief Shon Barnes said at a press conference. 

The suspect in custody is being held in juvenile detention for investigation of firearms violations and first-degree assault and is expected to appear in court on Monday afternoon.

The three people who were killed have been identified as a 19-year-old man, a 44-year-old man and a 56-year-old woman. Three of the four people who were injured have been released from the hospital, according to the Associated Press.

The two-year-old is in satisfactory condition, the outlet reported. It was not clear whether he's been released.
