A Texas man was arrested in the early hours of Tuesday morning after he allegedly hopped the wall around President Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida. He told Palm Beach police that he hoped to marry Trump's granddaughter, Kai Trump.

The man, identified as 23-year-old Anthony Thomas Reyes, was also arrested for trespassing at Mar-a-Lago in December. He now faces another misdemeanor trespassing charge, and will remain in the Palm Beach County Jail on a $50,000 bond.

Reyes has pleaded not guilty to the crime, but allegedly told law enforcement officials that he scaled the wall to talk to President Trump about "the gospel," and to marry Kai Trump, who turned 18 last month, per the Palm Beach Daily News

The president is not currently at Mar-a-Lago, but Kai Trump, who is the oldest child of the president's oldest son Donald Trump Jr., goes to school in the area.

Reyes has been ordered not to have any contact with any of the president's family, or the president himself, and is not allowed on any of Trump's properties. He is also not allowed to speak to any witnesses of the incident, or have any weapons.
