Office Depot is facing backlash for a store employee allegedly refusing to print a poster of slain conservative commentator Charlie Kirk for a vigil.

Matthew DePerno, an attorney and Republican activist, said the Kalamazoo County Republican Party ordered the poster Friday afternoon at a store in the city of Portage for a vigil that evening.

A few hours later, however, a store print supervisor called and told organizers the order would not be completed because the poster was “propaganda," said DePerno, according to The New York Post.

“Hey @officedepot @OfficeMax do you think this is acceptable?” DePerno wrote on X that included a video taken inside the store side the store and a receipt for the canceled order.

Office Depot apologized for the incident and said it fired the employee involved.

“The behavior displayed by our associate is completely unacceptable and insensitive, violates our company policies, and does not reflect the values we uphold at Office Depot," a company spokesperson said in a statement to The Post. "We sincerely apologize to the customer affected and to our community for this regrettable situation."
