Blue Origin launches first tourists into edge of space after nearly two years

Blue Origin on Sunday successfully launched a tourism rocket with passengers to the edge of space for the first time in almost two years. 

The New Shepard rocket was in the air for about 10 minutes before the capsule touched back down to earth with its crew members, Blue Origin said on X, formerly Twitter. There were also six customers on board in addition to the crew. 

The mission was livestreamed on Blue Origin's website.

This is the seventh manned flight for the space company, which was created by Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, according to CNN.
