The estate for comedian George Carlin reportedly filed a lawsuit against the creators of an artificial intelligence-generated, hour-long video. The estate accuses the creators of stealing “a great American artist’s work,” NBC News reports.
The video called “George Carlin: I’m Glad I’m Dead” was posted to Youtube two weeks ago on the channel ran by the media company Dudesy.
The lawsuit, which was filed in California federal court Thursday, seeks an immediate removal of the video, as well as an unspecified amount of damages, according to Variety.
