The former president participated in a live conversation with Musk on Monday evening in which the pair discussed campaign issues and the assassination attempt in Butler, Pa., that led Musk to back Trump's candidacy.
The campaign on Tuesday announced the fundraising haul and further posted the interview's viewership statistics as of 12 p.m. EST. A total of 25 million X users listened to the whole interview while total impressions exceeded 2.9 billion. The interview also boasted roughly 1.5 million listeners at any given time.
"The media can lie, but the numbers don’t: Americans are eager to hear from President Trump and his momentum is only growing as we get closer to November 5," Trump Campaign Communications Director Steven Cheung said in a statement.
The interview was delayed due to what Musk called a Distributed Denial of Service (DDOS) attack.
The X owner has further invited Vice President Kamala Harris to participate in a similar discussion.
