Trump will be in Scotland for four days and will make stops at his Turnberry and Aberdeen golf properties.
President Donald Trump is traveling to Scotland on Friday to meet with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer and to visit his golf properties in the country.
Trump and Starmer are expected to partake in trade discussions and expand market access between the U.S. and U.K., according to ABC News.
"We're meeting with the prime minister tonight," Trump said to reporters before departing the White House. "We're going to be talking about the trade deal that we made, and maybe even improve it."
The president also said that he gets along well with Starmer.
Trump will be in Scotland for four days and will make stops at his Turnberry and Aberdeen golf properties.
The Turnberry golf resort was opened on Scotland's west coast in 2014 and the Aberdeen course was opened in 2012.
Protests are scheduled to take place over the weekend during the president's visit by the "Stop Trump" coalition.
