Democratic Wisconsin Gov Tony Evers says he is not seeking reelection

Democratic Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers on Thursday said that he is not seeking reelection for a third term.

Evers explained that he is retiring after his family has sacrificed by supporting him in public office.

“That’s why, Wisconsin, I’m announcing I will not be running for a third term,” Evers said in a video posted on the social media platform X.
