Firefighters union declines presidential endorsement for 2024 election

International Association of Fire Fighters with a membership of about 300,000 became the second major union to decline to make a presidential endorsement for the 2024 election.

The International Brotherhood of Teamsters was the first union to decide not to endorse Vice President Kamala Harris or former President Trump.

General President Edward Kelly said members voted “by a margin of 1.2%” against choosing a candidate.
