House Freedom Caucus Chairman Rep. Bob Good loses Virginia primary after recount

Republican state Sen. John McGuire, who former President Trump endorsed, defeated Good by 370 votes.

Rep. Bob Good, R-Va., chairman of the House Freedom Caucus, lost his congressional primary race on Thursday after the conclusion of a recount.

Republican state Sen. John McGuire, who former President Trump endorsed, defeated Good by 370 votes. 

The original margin, prior to the recount, was 374.

Good funded the recount effort.
