Kamala Harris endorses Rep. Jasmine Crockett in Texas U.S. Senate primary

Former Vice President Kamala Harris has endorsed Rep. Jasmine Crockett in the closely watched Texas Democratic primary for U.S. Senate. 

The endorsement comes as early voting winds down ahead of the March 3 contest.

Harris recorded a robocall urging Democratic voters across Texas to back Crockett, a congresswoman from Dallas, saying the state “has the chance to send a fighter like Jasmine Crockett to the United States Senate.” 

In the message, she praised Crockett’s record and called on voters to help flip Texas “blue” in one of the country’s most competitive statewide races.
