Sen. Cotton not accepting any roles within Trump administration: Report

Sen. Tom Cotton (R-Ark.) is reportedly not accepting any possible positions within the new Trump administration.

Cotton has informed Trump's transition team he won't accept any roles and will stay in the Senate, where he is running for GOP conference chair against Sen. Joni Ernst, R-Iowa., the third top leadership post.

Cotton's name had been floated for defense secretary or director of the Central Intelligence Agency.
