President Donald Trump on Monday endorsed New Jersey GOP gubernatorial candidate Jack Ciattarelli in the Republican primary.

"Jack Ciattarelli is a WINNER, and has my Complete and Total Endorsement – HE WILL NOT LET YOU DOWN. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN, ELECT JACK CIATTARELLI!" Trump wrote on TRUTH Social.

Ciattarelli was the New Jersey GOP nominee in 2021 and lost to Democratic Gov. Phil Murphy.

The primary elections for New Jersey take place on June 10. The other leading contender for the GOP nomination is Bill Spadea, a former talk-show host who is also very pro-Trump.

"He is strongly supported by the most Highly Respected Leaders in New Jersey and, as your next Governor, Jack Ciattarelli will work closely with me and the Trump Administration to advance our America First Agenda," Trump's TRUTH post continued.

Ciattarelli served as a state representative in New Jersey from 2011 to 2018.
