Virginia Democratic Attorney General nominee Jay Jones is in a deadlock with incumbent GOP state AG Jason Miyares amid an ongoing scandal over his text messages in which the Democrat fantasized about the deaths of his political opponents' children.

Democrat Abigail Spanberger still holds a significant lead over Republican Winsome Earle-Sears for governor of Virginia. 

Zohran Mamdani still holds a double-digit lead over former governor of New York Andrew Cuomo, and by even a larger margin over Republican candidate Curtis Sliwa. 

And in New Jersey, Democrat Mikie Sherrill holds a shrinking lead over Republican Jack Ciattarelli for governor of New Jersey.
