Americans hold favorable view of Pam Bondi, Trump's attorney general pick: Poll
The Rasmussen poll found that 42% of likely U.S. voters view Bondi favorably, including 23% who have a "very favorably" impression of her.
A poll published on Monday found that more likely U.S. voters view President-elect Donald Trump's pick for attorney general favorably than unfavorably, but a quarter of respondents are still not sure.
Trump selected former Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi for the position late last month, after former Florida GOP Rep. Matt Gaetz withdrew his name from consideration. Bondi has been meeting senators on Capitol Hill recently to help smooth over her confirmation process next month.
The Rasmussen poll found that 42% of likely U.S. voters view Bondi favorably, including 23% who have a "very favorable" impression of her. Another 31% responded that they view her negatively, including 17% who have a very negative view of her. Twenty-six percent said they are not sure.
The poll was conducted from Nov. 25-26 and questioned 879 likely U.S. voters nationally. The survey had a plus and minus three-point margin of error.
