Trump to meet with OMB director to plan cuts to 'Democrat Agencies'

President Donald Trump on Thursday announced he would meet with Office of Management and Budget Director Russ Vought amid the government shutdown to discuss cuts to federal agencies he views as a "political scam."
The government formally shut down on Wednesday morning after the Senate failed to approve a continuing resolution to fund the government. Republicans have labeled the development the "Schumer shutdown," contending that Democrats seek to fund health care for illegal aliens.
"I have a meeting today with Russ Vought, he of PROJECT 2025 Fame, to determine which of the many Democrat Agencies, most of which are a political SCAM, he recommends to be cut, and whether or not those cuts will be temporary or permanent," Trump posted on Truth Social. "I can’t believe the Radical Left Democrats gave me this unprecedented opportunity. They are not stupid people, so maybe this is their way of wanting to, quietly and quickly, MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!"
