AMA recommits support for gender-affirming care, vows to oppose laws that criminalize or impede it

The American Medical Association’s House of Delegates passed the Endocrine Society’s resolution this week to protect access to gender-affirming care and advocate for laws and policies that protect its accessibility. The AMA resolution says it will also oppose any laws the criminalize or impede gender-affirming care as well as support protections for doctors and institutions who provide the health treatment.
