Rep. Garcia introduces resolution to expel Rep. Santos from Congress

Representative Robert Garcia (D-CA) introduced a measure on the House floor Tuesday to expel Representative George Santos (R-NY). Rep. Garcia’s motion is a privileged resolution, requiring House Republicans to schedule a vote by Thursday. The measure comes one week after the congressman pled not guilty to thirteen federal charges ranging from financial fraud to misuse of campaign funds.
