Rep. Graves: ‘Not a chance’ GOP will drop push for tougher work requirements for food stamps

Representative Garrett Graves (R-LA) told reporters outside the Capitol Friday there is “not a chance” Republicans will drop their demand for stricter work requirements for SNAP benefits. Rep. Graves is one of the lead lawmakers on House Speaker Kevin McCarthy’s (R-CA) team negotiating the budget limit.
