Sen. Schumer met with cheers and boos during Queens Pride Parade

Senator Chuck Schumer (D-NY) marched in the annual pride parade in Queens, New York on Sunday, wishing parade attendees “happy pride” through a bullhorn. Sen. Schumer received a mixed reception from the crowd when he addressed his involvement in the Marriage Equality Act and his lesbian daughter Allison Schumer.
