Sen. Tommy Tuberville: Trump's plan to empower states influenced decision to enter Alabama gov race

Senator Tommy Tuberville (R-AL) says he discussed with President Donald Trump his decision to leave Congress and run for governor of Alabama. “After looking at all of it, talking with President Trump, evaluating what he’s going to do, [give] more power back to the states, more money back to the states, I decided to go back and take advantage of that, of what he’s going to do in the next couple years,” he says.
