Speaker McCarthy: White House wants a default more than they want a deal

During a press conference in Washington D.C. on Thursday, Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) said he believes the White House is not serious about making a compromise on the debt limit legislation. Sen. McCarthy said he believes the White House wants a default more than they want a deal.
